Their creation, a rice dish with Extremaduran touches that includes pestorejo —the pig's face consisting of the snout, jowl, and ear—, was the winner of this prestigious recognition. The event took place over the weekend, attracting thousands of visitors.
More than 50 participating restaurants offered rice portions to over 42,000 visitors, demonstrating the great reception of this gastronomic competition. The jury particularly valued the creativity of the recipes cooked live by the contestants.

The jury, led by Cuchita Lluch, included the presence of renowned chefs such as Begoña Rodrigo and Bernd Knofler, as well as Vicente Patiño from Saiti, and gastronomic journalism professionals. An innovative entrepreneur from the sector also joined the deliberation.
This year, ten finalists, selected from numerous aspirants across the country, presented their proposals. The 'Future Rice Cooker' podium was completed by Miguel Calaforra from Socarrat (Lanzarote) and José Cifre from Noble (Valencia).
Attendees were able to enjoy various versions of the most popular dish in Valencian gastronomy. Participating restaurants with stands included A Roig Viu (Albaida), Portolito Centro (València), Llisa Negra (València), Flores Raras (València), Restaurante Rioja (Benisanó), Manu Yarza de Yarza, Amarre 29 (Port de Sagunt), La Tavernaire (València), Tu Arrocero (València), and Setaygues Gambrinus (València).
