Neighborhood associations and hoteliers in València express their rejection of the relocation of music festivals to Marina Norte without prior consensus or an adequate impact study.

The Federation of Neighborhood Associations of València has reported that the Cabanyal-Canyamelar Neighborhood Association and the Paseo Neptuno Hoteliers Association have sent a joint statement to the City Council. In it, they state that the solution to noise problems from festivals cannot simply be to move them to other areas of the city, as this would only shift the problem to other neighborhoods.
The statement responds to the municipal decision to relocate large concerts and night festivals to the Marina Norte area, as well as the continued use of beach plots for noisy events. The neighborhood entities emphasize the incompatibility of open-air concerts in residential areas, including spaces such as the Viveros garden.

"A balanced city model that respects its neighborhoods, its residents, and its economic fabric, and that does not transfer problems from one district to another without responsible planning."

the organized neighborhood movement
Among the demands presented to the València City Council is the request to immediately cease the use of undeveloped plots for itinerant events and massive activities without a clear regulatory framework. They also request the provisional habilitation of these spaces for neighborhood uses, such as resident parking, until they are urbanistically developed.
Furthermore, the associations ask that festivals and concerts not be automatically relocated to Marina Norte without a prior impact study and without consensus with those affected. They propose the creation of a stable working group between the City Council, neighborhood associations, and the hospitality sector in the area to evaluate and regulate the impact of events. Finally, they urge the urgent implementation of a comprehensive redevelopment plan that includes the adaptation of abandoned plots and the improvement of the Paseo de Neptuno and the promenade.
