The women's competition will feature Alejandra Sánchez Fallada and Andrea Ustero Prieto, who caused a surprise by defeating the number one seeds, Gemma Triay Pons and Delfina Brea Senesi, in a long and hard-fought match (7-5, 2-6, 6-4).
