Granada-born point guard Álvaro Cárdenas has exceeded all expectations since joining Valencia Basket, becoming a differential player during the Liga Endesa playoffs.

After the game, Cárdenas shared his feelings: "I didn't expect this; I came to lend a hand in training. They mentioned I might debut, but I didn't expect to play in the playoffs. I always try to help the team however I can."
