Access roads to Valencia experienced a complicated morning with up to 24 kilometers of traffic jams on major routes, affecting thousands of drivers during Wednesday's rush hour.

The Dirección General de Tráfico (DGT) reported numerous traffic jams that affected the main road arteries of the Valencia metropolitan area. The most affected roads were the V-30, CV-35, and A-7, accumulating a total of 24 kilometers of slow-moving and stopped traffic.
The V-30, known as Valencia's beltway, recorded almost 11 kilometers of retentions at various critical points. In the increasing direction towards the A-7, traffic was irregular between kilometers 8 and 10, near Barrio de la Luz and Mislata. In the opposite direction, towards the Port of Valencia, problems were concentrated in Paterna, from kilometer 15 to 14, exacerbated by fixed obstacles on the road at kilometer 13. Retentions were also detected in Pinedo, blocking the start of the road in the decreasing direction.
The CV-35, known as the Pista de Ademuz, suffered its usual saturation with greater intensity, accumulating almost 5 kilometers of congestion. The most significant retentions were located in San Antonio de Benagéber heading towards Valencia and at Cruz de Gracia, where the service road was practically collapsed between kilometers 9 and 10.
The A-7 bypass also experienced a domino effect from the congestion on other roads, with more than 7 kilometers of slow traffic. In the area of Cruz de Gracia and La Cañada, vehicles moved at a snail's pace for several kilometers towards Alicante. Additionally, incidents due to fixed obstacles were reported in Alginet, which forced the closure of the hard shoulder, further complicating the flow towards Valencia.
Other roads also presented problems, such as the V-31 (Pista de Silla), where obstacles near Silla caused the closure of the hard shoulder towards Alicante. An accident on the CV-370, near Simetes, also generated additional retentions on the road network.
