The first weekend of June invites enjoyment of the summer atmosphere in the province of Valencia, with a schedule full of events ranging from gastronomy to culture, including popular festivals and family activities. The city of Valencia and numerous towns in the province offer options for all tastes.
Among the highlights are the El Perelló Tomato Fair, celebrating local produce; the Olocau Iberfesta, transporting attendees to the Iberian era with historical reenactments; the Valencia Bicycle Day, filling the streets with participants; and the Jarafuel Almez Fair, focusing on tradition and local products. Additionally, several inland towns are holding cherry festivals.
Requena hosts a large wine afternoon with wineries from the Valencian interior, while Valencia celebrates World Bicycle Day with free activities in the Viveros Gardens. The city of Valencia also experiences the Corpus Christi Festival, one of its most emblematic celebrations, with traditional events and historical offerings.
