Stone town hall facade with ornate balcony and iron railings, warm afternoon sunlight casting shadows on the sandstone walls, blue sky, documentary photography style.
The València City Council has published the tender for the project drafting and faculty management of the rehabilitation works for the facade of the Ruzafa Market, with an amount of 60,000 euros.
This action is part of the municipal commitment to improving municipal markets, considered the commercial heart of the neighborhoods. The intervention includes the replacement of all building windows, the integral painting of the facade, and the repair of leaks detected in the outdoor stalls.

"This action is part of the municipal commitment to improving municipal markets, which are the commercial heart of the neighborhoods."
The objective is to dignify the image of one of the city's most emblematic markets and improve the working conditions of vendors. This new action adds to other interventions that the City Council is already promoting in the Ruzafa Market.
Currently, an energy efficiency project is being executed in the building, with an investment of 1.6 million euros, and the repair of different stalls, for an amount of 90,000 euros. In addition, last year a new lactation room was put into service, in response to a demand from market users.

"In less than two years, we will have invested more than 1.75 million euros in improving its facilities, making it more sustainable, and adapting it to the real needs of vendors and customers."
