The improvement works being carried out by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) in the tunnel between the València-Alameda and València-Marítim stations will last until August 30. To compensate for the suspension of Metrovalencia lines 5 and 7, EMT has taken measures to reinforce other lines.
EMT line 32 will operate with articulated buses and an additional bus on weekdays and holidays, and with two buses every Saturday. Line 92 will add an extra bus on weekdays and Saturdays, in addition to the reinforcement already in place on weekends.
Furthermore, all buses on line 92 will be articulated. Line 81 will have an additional bus on Saturdays during night hours, while line 93 will maintain the previous summer's reinforcement with one more bus on holidays and two on weekdays. Line 4 will have one extra bus, and line 31 will have two.
The city council argues that this reinforcement aims to absorb the expected increase in passengers due to the suspension of the metro service, which will leave the València-Aragó, València-Amistat, València-Aiora, and València-Marítim stations without service.
