The La Coma Health Center in Paterna reopened its doors this morning after a four-month closure, once again offering family medicine services to local residents.

The reopening of the La Coma Health Center has been met with relief by Paterna residents, who can now access medical care without having to travel far. After four months without service, patients have begun to visit the facilities as usual.
Currently, the center offers family medicine services, while the pediatrics area awaits the hiring of medical staff. One of the new features that has become common for users is the presence of a security arch at the entrance, a measure that some patients, like Jorge, of Mexican origin and a recent resident in Paterna, consider “normal” and “very good.”

"We have returned to normality and it is a relief, because before I had to go by taxi, now I come walking."

Teresa
For Teresa, one of the first users, the reopening represents a great relief, as it allows her to change appointments she had at another clinic and access the center on foot. Another patient, Cristóbal, also expressed his satisfaction after being attended to in nursing, highlighting the normality with which he passed through the security arch. In addition to the detector, private security at the center has been reinforced.
