Fundación Bancaja and CaixaBank have launched the 13th Capaces Call, an initiative allocating 200,000 euros to social projects in the Valencian Community to foster the autonomy of vulnerable individuals.

This call aims to support non-profit social entities based in the Valencian Community with a minimum of three years of operation. Projects must focus on the social and labor inclusion of people with disabilities, mental disorders, or in situations of dependency.
The economic endowment comes from direct contributions from Fundación Bancaja and CaixaBank, channeled through their solidarity cards. A portion of the maintenance fee for these cards, covered by clients, is allocated to fund this social action program.

"The call is aimed at social and labor inclusion projects for people with disabilities, people with mental disorders, and people in situations of dependency in the Valencian Community."

Submitted initiatives must align with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and focus on promoting personal autonomy, psychosocial support for families, and fostering volunteering. The deadline for applications is May 20, and selected projects, with a maximum aid of 20,000 euros, will be announced by the end of June.
In addition to this call, Fundación Bancaja develops other social initiatives such as the D-Capacidad Week, collaboration with the Red Cross program for unwanted loneliness among seniors in the city of Valencia, and art workshops in residences and day centers. It also promotes cultural and artistic mediation programs like 'Aula de Artes' for children at risk of social exclusion and workshops to bring culture closer to vulnerable groups.
