The Fallas Board has confirmed the calendar for the 2027 Fallas, concentrating tent and market installations on March 11-12, to directly link with the PreFallas weekend and the traditional program.

The Fallas Board meeting has ratified that the mass installation of tents will take place on Thursday, March 11, and Friday, March 12. Thus, PreFallas will be held on Saturday, March 13, connecting the following day with the traditional festival program. This decision was made to take advantage of the calendar and avoid a week of unused tents, as initially proposed by some voices requesting the installation be moved to March 4-5.
The idea of a "linear festival" prevails, meaning celebrations will run consecutively from March 12 to March 19. However, the possibility of street activities on Saturday, March 6, is foreseen, with minimal impact, similar to a "mid-year" event or the day of the Crida, where the casales open their doors during the morning.
Some activity is also anticipated on March 9 and 10 in permitted areas such as vacant lots and streets that do not affect EMT traffic. The meeting included representatives from Fallas entities, municipal services (Local Police, Firefighters, Civil Protection, Public Domain, Health, Historical Heritage, Mobility, Integral Water Cycle, Cleaning and Waste Collection), and representatives from Interagrupación de Fallas, the Federation of Special Fallas, the Federation of First A Fallas, Ingenio y Gracia, I+E, the Federation of Neighborhood Associations, and AVACU.
A notable novelty is the earlier closure of the city center. Starting March 16, it will be at 8:30 AM, affecting ordinary traffic in the first two ring roads, except for authorized vehicles.
Key festival dates include the Crida on the last Sunday of February, the start of buñolería installations on the Crida day, market authorization from March 9, and parties or afternoon gatherings on March 13, 15, 16, 17, and 18.
Regarding pyrotechnics, the use of F3 category devices will be restricted during night hours to promote neighborly rest. Additionally, "mojiterías" will disappear to "preserve the festival's image and reinforce its traditional and cultural character."
These measures are part of the coordination process between municipal services and Fallas, neighborhood, and social entities to ensure the proper development of the 2027 Fallas.
