This year's awards highlighted the documentary Corren las liebres, by Lorena Ros, as the best documentary feature, and the Iranian production Between dreams and hopes, by Farnoosh Samadi, as the best fiction feature. The jury praised these works for their ability to highlight social realities that are often ignored.
In the short film category, the award for best fiction went to Porque hoy es sábado, while La fuerza del silencio was awarded in the documentary category. Local talent also played a significant role, with the stop-motion animation short El aspirante, by Sam Ortí, recognized as the best Valencian work.
The festival's management gave a positive assessment of this edition, which screened nearly seventy films in various city venues such as the Babel Cinemas and the Filmoteca Valenciana. The event has solidified its importance by recording a historic participation record in the official section.
