Valencia is hosting the 29th edition of its Jazz Festival, scheduled from June 24 to July 26, 2026, presenting fifteen concerts and the 26th edition of the Sedajazz Jazz and Latin Music Seminar.

The festival, featuring fifteen performances across various venues such as Sala Iturbi, Sala Rodrigo, the Palau Gardens, and the districts of Castellar-Oliveral and La Torre, will have ticket prices ranging from €10 to €35.
The lineup highlights four Grammy Award winners: Maria Schneider, Esperanza Spalding, Joe Lovano, and Włodek Pawlik. Schneider and Spalding will make their Valencia debuts on consecutive nights. The festival also maintains a strong presence of Valencian jazz and includes six free concerts in gardens and neighborhoods, alongside incorporating Gospel music and the Banda Sinfónica Municipal de València in an evening with Pepe Rivero.
Among the international Grammy artists, Maria Schneider will perform on July 6 at Sala Iturbi, recognized for her versatility in jazz, contemporary classical, and rock. The following day, July 7, Esperanza Spalding, a singer and bassist, will present her work, having been the first jazz musician to win the Grammy for Best New Artist in 2011. On July 8, Joe Lovano, accompanied by the trio of Antonio Faraò, Ira Coleman, and Jonathan Blake, will take the stage. Włodek Pawlik, a 2014 Grammy winner, will perform on July 5 at Sala Rodrigo, in a concert co-organized by Across Music Foundation with support from the Polish Cultural Institute.

On July 12, José James and China Moses will present a tribute to the 50th anniversary of Marvin Gaye's album 'I Want You'. Gospel music will be featured on July 9 with the group Gospel Factory, directed by Dani Reus.
Valencian jazz will be represented throughout the festival, not only in the free concerts but also at Sala Iturbi and within the educational framework of the Conservatorio José Iturbi.
The free concerts in the Palau Gardens will kick off on June 24 with the Jove Big Band Sedajazz and Perico Sambeat, alongside vocalist Sara Dowling. On June 25, the Banda Sinfónica Municipal de València will perform with the Pepe Rivero Quintet, conducted by Cristóbal Soler, blending Latin jazz with the city's band tradition.
