Civil Guard Prosecutes 257 Drivers in March for Road Safety Offenses

Most cases are related to driving without a license or under the influence of alcohol in the provinces of Valencia, Castellón, and Alicante.

The Civil Guard Traffic Group in the Valencian Community brought a total of 257 drivers before the courts during March, as alleged perpetrators of road safety offenses.

Of these, 116 were for driving without a permit or license. Within this category, 54 cases correspond to total loss of points, 14 for precautionary deprivation by judicial decision, 2 for definitive deprivation by judicial decision, and 46 for never having obtained a permit or license.
Additionally, 131 drivers were apprehended for driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages. Other infractions include 1 case for speeding, 6 for reckless driving, and 3 for driving with drugs in their system.
By province, in Castellón, action was taken against 21 drivers for lacking a permit or license and 21 drivers for driving under the influence of alcohol. In the province of Valencia, the figures were 59 drivers for lacking a permit or license, 59 for alcohol influence, 4 for reckless driving, and 2 for drugs.
Finally, in the province of Alicante, 36 drivers were recorded for lacking a permit or license, 51 for alcohol influence, 2 for reckless driving, 1 for speeding, and 1 for driving with drugs in their system.
