Cines Babel in Valencia has launched Espai d’Art U, a new exhibition concept dedicating a 4x3 meter wall to a single visual artwork for an entire month.

This new artistic project, located in the cinema's cafe area, aims to provide a space for pure contemplation, distinct from decorative rotation or shared exhibitions. The carefully illuminated wall will allow a single artwork to be the focus for an extended period, fostering a deeper connection between the piece and the viewer.
The space is designed as a meeting point frequented by an audience with a cultural profile, accustomed to artistic proposals and with a particular sensitivity towards imagery. The artwork's visibility is high and constant, within a context that encourages attentive and reflective observation.
Throughout the year, twelve artists will have the opportunity to present their work in this unique space. At the end of the cycle, a small catalog will be published, documenting all the exhibited works and their creators as a record of the project.
Currently, visitors to Cines Babel can view the work of artist Chema López, which will be on display until the 28th. Subsequently, on June 30th, the wall will feature the new artist, Anna Pastor.
