During the conference, the regulatory and commercial framework of Kenya was analyzed, along with the main business opportunities for each sector and the challenges for making correct strategic decisions in this East African market, as reported by Cámara Valencia in a statement.
“"Internationalization requires information, market knowledge, and long-term trust relationships. Kenya today represents a growing market of interest and a strategic gateway to East Africa."
The capacity of Valencian companies to compete abroad in areas such as agribusiness, logistics, water, energy, and technology was also highlighted. Furthermore, the Deputy Director General of Bilateral Economic Relations and Economic Diplomacy, Juan Ignacio del Castillo, addressed the role of economic diplomacy as key to strengthening business relations between both countries.
The conference featured representatives from CaixaBank, who analyzed banking operations in Kenya, including collections, payments, and guarantees, as well as Grupo Raminatrans, which discussed key logistical and operational aspects for successful exports to the country. The event also included the testimony and direct experience of the Valencian company Agritecno Fertilizantes, an exporter in Kenya, and a colloquium where practical recommendations were shared.
