Montenegrin legend Bojan Dubljevic announced his retirement from professional basketball this Sunday, concluding an 11-season career with Valencia Basket where he won four titles.

The player's agent, Misko Raznatovic, made the announcement, marking the end of an era for the 'taronja' club. Dubljevic's jersey number '14' will be retired and displayed at the Roig Arena, joining club legends such as Víctor Luengo, Nacho Rodilla, Rafa Martínez, and Sam Van Rossom.
Raznatovic expressed mixed emotions bidding farewell to a player he represented from a young age: "today, however, that melancholy is even more intense, because Bojan Dubljević, who is now ending his playing career, was one of my favorites." He recalled the beginnings in 2012 with his signing for Valencia, where he won two EuroCups and one Spanish League title, highlighting the "family relationship" he built with the player and his loved ones.
During his time at Valencia Basket, Dubljevic was a key player in winning four titles, including the 2017 Liga Endesa, where he was the MVP of the Final Playoff. He also lifted the EuroCup trophies in 2014 and 2019, and the Supercopa Endesa in 2017. He retires as the second player with the most appearances (629), the foreign player with the most games and seasons (11), and the club's all-time leading scorer and rebounder.
His personal statistics with the club are impressive: averaging 11.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game, with a 38.5% three-point shooting accuracy. Dubljevic leads many historical Valencia Basket rankings, being the all-time leading scorer (7,349 points) across all competitions, the top rebounder (3,474), and the most valuable player (8,823 credits). He also ranks highly in games played in European competitions (233) and the Copa del Rey (17).
The Montenegrin center left an indelible mark on Valencia, receiving an emotional tribute during his last visit as a player for Casademont Zaragoza.
