The Albal City Council has launched the 'Dana Employment Plan', an initiative that will allow the full-time hiring of 20 unemployed individuals for three months, aiming to strengthen municipal services and foster local employment.

This program, scheduled to run between April 1 and June 30, 2026, seeks not only to improve service delivery to citizens but also to offer a real opportunity for job placement to residents of the municipality affected by unemployment.
The professional profiles to be incorporated are varied and include six laborer positions, five cleaning staff, two home care assistants, one administrative assistant, five administrative staff, and one gerocultor or residential care assistant. This diversity of roles will help cover needs in different areas of local administration.

"This plan represents a real opportunity for many families in Albal who need to enter the labor market, while also strengthening essential services for our neighbors."

The initiative is part of a subsidy granted by the State Public Employment Service (SEPE), aimed at boosting employment in localities that suffered the effects of the DANA (Isolated Depression at High Levels). Furthermore, it is part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, which promotes economic and social recovery in areas affected by adverse weather phenomena.
The mayor of Albal, José Miguel Ferris, along with the Councilor for Personnel, Valero Eustaquio, and the technicians from the personnel and contracting department, formalized the contracts and welcomed the new workers at a ceremony held in the plenary hall of the consistory. The mayor highlighted the municipal commitment to local employment and institutional collaboration with SEPE as key elements for the municipality's recovery.
