Aemet Recalls DANA on Sant Jordi with Work on Tragedy

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) recalled the tragic DANA of October 29, 2024, on the occasion of Sant Jordi, highlighting a literary work that narrates the events.

The Valencian delegation of Aemet participated in literary recommendations on social media for the Sant Jordi festivity. Among the proposals, Lágrimas de Barro stood out, a work that addresses the tragedy of the DANA that affected the Valencian Community almost a year and a half ago.
A climatology chief from Aemet in the Valencian Community chose this book, describing it as a "chronicle of the tragedy that changed the lives of thousands of Valencians and also mine." This testimony underscores the profound impact of the event on the region.
The publication by the state meteorological agency serves to keep alive the memory of this event, which had significant consequences for many people in the Valencian territory.
