The Commonwealth of Alto Palancia has joined the UniDiversitat program by Universitat Jaume I (UJI), an initiative offering training and internships to young people with intellectual, developmental, or autism spectrum disabilities, aiming to foster their labor inclusion and autonomy.

This program, targeting young people aged between 18 and 30, seeks to enhance their general and professional competencies to facilitate access to ordinary work environments. The initiative has received support from the Pact for Employment and Local Development.
Jessica Miravete, president of the Commonwealth, has positively assessed the incorporation, highlighting the benefits for both students and the entity. One of the students, Leo, has already completed her training at the Commonwealth's headquarters in Soneja.
UniDiversitat, now in its fifth edition with over 65 graduates, does not require prior qualifications. It offers an opportunity to develop inclusive experiences within the university setting, promoting mutual learning and coexistence in diverse situations among young people with and without disabilities.
The program, which began with the collaboration of the Universitat Jaume I-Empresa Foundation, represents a training pathway for students completing basic vocational training in high school and for those with ASD who, due to their abilities, fit well into university classrooms but require support to function autonomously.
