Teresa Successfully Hosts New Edition of Mountain Trail Race

Nearly 300 runners participated in the Long Trail and Sprint Trail modalities in the Alto Palancia region.

The town of Teresa hosted a new edition of its mountain trail race, an event that brought together nearly 300 runners in the Alto Palancia region.

The event, organized by the City Council and Club ADO, was part of the 'El Desafío Alto Palancia' circuit. The competition offered two modalities for participants: the Long Trail, with a route of 22 kilometers and 1,140 meters of positive elevation gain, and the Sprint Trail, of 11 kilometers and 450 meters of elevation gain.
The day began at 8 AM in an atmosphere of great participation and favorable weather conditions. In the men's Long Trail, the winner was Samuel Palomera Svensson, with a time of 2:03:07. In the women's category, victory went to Laura Rubio Mencher, who completed the course in 2:44:27.
As for the Sprint Trail modality, the men's triumph went to Víctor Díaz Fernández, with a time of 54:55. In the women's category, the winner was Olivia del Campo Weijers, with a time of 1:13:05.

The Teresa Trail was the third event of the 'El Desafío Alto Palancia' circuit, following those held in Caudiel and Azuébar. New races are expected in municipalities such as Benafer, Vall de Almonacid, Navajas, Chóvar, and Castellnovo.
