The IES Jérica Viver has concluded the month of April with a very positive balance, marked by significant academic recognitions, outreach activities, and the culmination of various training projects.

Among the most notable achievements, the school's students secured a double victory in academic olympiads. One student was the winner in the Geography Olympiads, an award the center has received for the second consecutive year. This recognition is complemented by another student's triumph in the Economics Olympiads.
As part of its Educational Innovation and Inclusion Project (PIIE), the institute organized the Scientific Congress “One World, One Health”. This biennial initiative focused on health from a practical and multidisciplinary perspective, with research from each didactic department on human, animal, or environmental health. The results were presented through scientific posters and podcasts published on the center's “One Voice” channel.
The congress featured the participation of healthcare professionals from the region, including physiotherapists, Sports Science graduates, pharmacists, nurses, veterinarians, scientists, and psychologists, who shared their expertise with the students.
Additionally, IES Jérica Viver concluded the III Edition of the Excellence Classroom program, which this year revolved around the theme “Pirates of the Mediterranean.” As a closing event, participants undertook an educational trip on April 26 and 27 along the Castellón coast, visiting fortifications such as Peñíscola Castle and Badum Tower, and hiking through the Sierra de Irta.
The itinerary also included a journey to the Columbretes Islands, where they enjoyed a guided tour and aquatic activities such as swimming and paddle surfing inside the ancient crater of Illa Grossa. With these activities, the center reinforces its commitment to combining academic excellence with experiential learning and educational innovation.
