After weeks of instability and rain, the forecasts from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) confirm the arrival of heat in the province of Castellón. The mercury's rise will be progressive throughout this week, culminating in maximum temperatures that could reach 31 degrees.

By Friday, temperatures will reach 30 degrees in the southern interior of the province and 27 on the coast. Saturday is expected to be the peak of this heat episode, with highs of 31 degrees in both Alto Palancia and some areas of Els Ports. On the coast, temperatures will be milder, although 28 degrees could be reached in Castellón.
On Sunday, according to Aemet forecasts, a significant drop in maximum temperatures is expected, up to five degrees in the interior.
