Segorbe's Comarcal Literary Contest Awards Local Talent in its XLVIII Edition

The Segorbe City Council has announced the results of the XLVIII Comarcal Literary Contest, an edition that gathered 163 works in children's, youth, and adult categories, reaffirming its status as a key event for literary creation in the region.

The jury, chaired by the Culture councilor, was composed of teachers and educational professionals, who evaluated the submissions before making their final decision. This contest stands out for its ability to foster literature across different generations.
In the children's category, section A, the first prize went to Sobran las palabras, while in section B, the main recognition was for El silencio de Martina. Both works are from participants from Segorbe, and other awards and honorable mentions were also granted.
Regarding the youth category, in section A, the first prose prize was for Las costureras del cielo, by a participant from Geldo, and the poetry prize for El recreo, by a participant from Navajas. In section B, Un día más won in prose and Te quiero, mamá in poetry, with participants from Segorbe and Altura, respectively. Section C awarded Burundi, una historia en mi vida in prose, by a participant from Segorbe.
In the adult category, the jury prize in section A was for Esa es la cuestión, and in section B for La partida de las cinco. Additionally, the audience award for the most voted story went to Agujetas.
