On April 15, Fanzara became the meeting point for UNED Senior students from towns such as Burriana, Benicarló, Vila-real, Almassora, Benicàssim, Castellón de la Plana, and Nules. The objective of this cultural day was the exploration of urban art, coexistence, and the exchange of knowledge.
During the excursion, participants walked through the streets of Fanzara to discover the Unfinished Museum of Urban Art (MIAU). This initiative has transformed the municipality into an internationally recognized open-air gallery. Accompanied by a specialized guide, attendees were able to delve into the artistic, cultural, and social value of the various interventions adorning the urban core, as well as the project's impact on local identity.
“"Cultural excursions to small municipalities like Fanzara are fundamental to highlighting their rich heritage and social value. These initiatives not only bring knowledge closer but also foster cohesion among students and revitalize territories that are key to our cultural identity."
The day went beyond art, serving as a space for coexistence and the exchange of experiences among senior students from different localities. This activity reinforces the role of UNED Senior in the social, cultural, and heritage revitalization of the territory, promoting lifelong learning and the construction of an active and connected community.
