Woman Rescued After Falling Down Embankment in La Serratella

Firefighters rescued a woman this Monday morning after she fell down an embankment while walking through a forest area in La Serratella, in the Alt Maestrat region.

The incident occurred while the woman was hiking in the mountains, as confirmed by the Provincial Fire Consortium of the Diputación de Castellón. The fall caused several bruises and a significant ankle injury.
Several fire brigades from the Plana Alta and Maestrat-Alcalatén parks quickly responded to the scene to assist the injured woman. The teams worked to immobilize her on a stretcher and transport her to the main trail.
Once in a safe location, medical services attended to her at the accident site to assess the severity of her injuries, particularly her ankle.
