The seven Valencian teams in Segunda Federación now know their rivals for the 2026-2027 season, who will face each other in the third group alongside Balearic and Murcian teams.

For the first time in four years, Alcoyano, Castellonense, Elche Illicitano, Intercity, La Nucía, Orihuela, and Valencia Mestalla will all compete in the same group of the fourth tier of Spanish football. This marks a new development for the Valencian clubs participating in this division.
The new season will kick off at the end of August, with the definitive calendar to be announced next week. The competition will feature a promotion and relegation system where the champion of each of the five groups will be directly promoted to Primera Federación. Additionally, teams finishing between second and fifth place will compete in a play-off for the remaining five promotion spots. Conversely, the bottom five teams in each group will be relegated to Tercera Federación.
