The central regions of the Valencian Community have recorded the most intense rainfall during the early morning, with figures close to 30 l/m² in l'Alacantí and Vall de Cofrents-Aiora. The day starts with overcast skies and a probability of moderate showers, which may be locally strong, especially towards the southern third.
In the province of Alicante, l'Alacantí, Marina, and l'Alcoià have been the areas with the most rain in the first part of the day. Over 25 l/m² have been collected from Pego to Xixona, where nearly 30 l/m² were reached by 08:00 h, the provisional maximum for the day.
The central interior of the territory has also experienced sustained rainfall. In Jalance (Vall de Cofrents-Aiora), 29.2 l/m² were recorded by 08:00 h, one of the highest figures of the day, and 22.8 l/m² in Bocairent (Vall d'Albaida). Meteorological stability is expected to set in as the day progresses.
Minimum temperatures continue to drop, while maximum temperatures show a slight increase, potentially reaching up to 21 °C on the coast. The wind will blow strongly in the northern third, with gusts that could exceed 80 km/h in the southern part of the province of Castellón and 90 km/h in the northwest.
