This Sunday's event was marked by the presence of the President of the Generalitat, Juanfran Pérez Llorca, and the Secretary General of the PSPV-PSOE, Diana Morant, at the fourth mascletà of Alicante's Hogueras festival. Both political leaders, who could contend for the presidency in future regional elections, captured significant attention.
Pérez Llorca, in his first Hogueras as president, was accompanied by the President of the Provincial Council of Valencia, Vicent Mompó, the party's provincial president, Toni Pérez, and the Mayor of Alicante, Luis Barcala. Four regional ministers also attended: José Antonio Rovira, Marián Cano, Juan Carlos Valderrama, and Nuria Martínez.
Meanwhile, Diana Morant watched the entire pyrotechnic display from start to finish, unlike last year. She was the last official to leave the Luceros venue. The Secretary General of the Valencian socialists was accompanied by the provincial secretary, Rubén Alfaro, and José Antonio Amat.
