The Fundación CV MARQ and Fundación la Caixa have renewed their alliance today to promote cultural accessibility in Alicante, with a budget of 30,000 euros for this year.

This collaboration, active since 2016, aims to ensure that the cultural programming promoted by the Alicante Provincial Council reaches everyone, especially those in vulnerable situations or with access difficulties.
The project includes the development of adapted resources such as easy-to-read guides, pictograms, 3D reproductions, and specific training to assist visitors with Autism Spectrum Disorder. These initiatives are carried out in coordination with various social entities and NGOs.
Among the actions planned for 2026, the continuity of programs such as Un hospital de cuento (A Storybook Hospital), aimed at minors admitted to the Alicante General Hospital, and Regresar con una nueva historia (Returning with a New Story), which seeks to promote the labor insertion of people deprived of liberty in collaboration with the Fontcalent Penitentiary Center, stands out.
The agreement also covers initiatives such as MARQ: Museo y memoria contra el Alzheimer, carried out with the Sant Vicent del Raspeig Hospital, and the MARQ +65 program, designed for the elderly, consolidating the museum as an open and democratizing space.
