The nut company continues its expansion in Mutxamel, with Phase III of its facilities almost complete, a project aimed at increasing productive capacity and generating employment in the locality.

The industrial expansion of the nut company in Mutxamel continues its progress. The company, specializing in the import and export of nuts, has its Phase III facilities in the municipality with the exterior structure almost finished. This step is part of an expansion project initiated in October 2025, framed within its industrial growth strategy from the province of Alicante.
This new phase will incorporate new production lines, allowing for an increase in the plant's operational capacity and the development of new solutions linked to its industrial activity. The ongoing expansion includes over 8,000 square meters of additional space within the complex that the company has maintained in Mutxamel since 2020.
The project plans to integrate new roasting, frying, flavoring, and packaging lines, aiming to boost productive capacity by 10,000 tons and reach a total potential of 70,000 tons annually. This new infrastructure seeks to strengthen its adaptability to the market and bring the final product closer to the consumer through greater agility in industrial and commercial development.
This expansion comes at a time of growth for the company, which closed the 2025 fiscal year with a turnover of 328.8 million euros, representing a 22% increase compared to the previous year. With these figures, the company remains among the businesses with the highest turnover in the province of Alicante.
The revenue growth has been accompanied by an industrial investment plan directly linked to Mutxamel. The investment plan associated with this Phase III amounts to 20 million euros. The action also entails the planned creation of approximately one hundred new jobs, which will add to a current workforce of 225 employees.
The company's plan for the coming years involves further increasing its business volume. By 2026, the company expects to exceed 376 million euros in turnover, driven primarily by the development of its retail lines and the growth of the industrial area linked to product processing. The medium-term goal is to reach 500 million euros in turnover by 2030 and consolidate its position as one of the European leaders in the nut sector.
