The Junta Qualificadora de Coneixements de Valencià (JQCV) has opened the registration period for official Valencian language certification tests at levels A2, B1, and Specific Languages, with significant new features to expand the offerings.

The online registration period for these levels will be available until April 28 at 23:59 hours on the JQCV website, without the need for prior appointment requests. The Generalitat Valenciana has implemented two significant novelties to promote the use and knowledge of Valencian in the community.
For the first time, tests for A2 and B1 certificates will be conducted at Public Adult Schools (EPA). These tests will be offered in the same locations as in previous years, including Alicante, Alcoy, Alzira, Benidorm, Buñol, Burriana, Castellón de la Plana, Dénia, Elda, Elche, Gandia, Llíria, Ontinyent, Orihuela, Paterna, Sagunto, Segorbe, Sueca, Torrent, Valencia, Vall d'Uixó, Villena, Vinaròs, and Xàtiva. This measure significantly increases the availability of locations for Valencian language training.
Individuals who have not completed the A2 course at adult schools or are not entitled to the certificate, as well as those who have not attended any courses but wish to accredit an A2 or B1 level, may take these tests. Technical proficiency certification tests, covering language in media, administrative language, and text correction, will take place at the Official School of Languages of Saïdia, in Valencia.
Another novelty is the increased offering of certificates for lower language levels, such as A1, to encourage the use of Valencian among people who have come to live in the Valencian Community, facilitating their social and cultural integration. All EPA centers can offer and propose certification for this level. Additionally, courses have been authorized in various city councils, at the University of Alicante, and in the provincial councils of Valencia and Alicante.
Regarding registration for other levels, the period for level B2 will be from June 15 at 9:00 hours to June 23 at 23:59 hours. For levels C1 and C2, a prior appointment request for registration will be required. For C1, the deadline will be from 09:00 hours on June 25 until 20:00 hours on July 6, 2026, or until appointments are exhausted. For C2, it will be from 10:00 hours on June 25 until 20:00 hours on July 6, 2026, or until appointments are exhausted.
