The 'Growing Together' conference, promoted by Información and Prensa Ibérica, brought together specialists at Terra Natura Benidorm to reflect on parenting and child development in today's world.

The event, held on Saturday, April 25, served as a meeting point for families, teachers, and education professionals. The main objective was to offer guidance, practical tools, and a space for reflection on the most pressing challenges in parenting, such as screen use, visual health, school bullying, emotional education, and critical thinking in the era of artificial intelligence.
The official opening included a welcome from the director of Terra Natura and Aqua Natura, and an institutional address by the general director of Educational Innovation and Inclusion, Xaro Escrig. Both emphasized the importance of creating useful and enriching spaces to exchange ideas and tools that help families in their daily lives.

"We firmly believe that learning begins and must be built within the family environment, based on values of respect, curiosity, and awareness, among many others."

A social educator, an expert in gender violence, addressed the relationship of minors and adolescents with screens, warning about risks such as access to pornography at increasingly younger ages. She highlighted the importance of building healthy self-esteem as the main antidote to dangers.
A professor from the University of Alicante and optometrist focused his presentation on how current habits influence children's and adolescents' visual health, and the importance of detecting warning signs in time. He noted that myopia is one of the main current problems, with a worrying increase due to the risks it poses to the retina.
A National Police inspector offered keys to identify warning signs and act appropriately in cases of school bullying. A marketing and admissions manager from a school explained the importance of supporting parenting with calm and emotional education, using play as the basis for learning.
The program concluded with a strategic marketing and artificial intelligence consultant, who reflected on critical thinking in a context marked by speed and the growing influence of artificial intelligence. He stressed that a young person who knows how to doubt is protected against any algorithm or hoax.
The conference ended with a raptor bird exhibition and the opening of the multi-adventure area for minors, facilitating attendance for many families. 'Growing Together' closed its second edition, consolidating itself as a valuable event to support families in the educational challenges of the present.
