The Alicante International Film Festival and Impulsalicante are hosting the eighth edition of their Fiction Projects Laboratory, where 19 selected scripts will be presented to industry producers between May 25 and 29.

A total of 19 projects, from over 200 submissions, have been selected to participate in the eighth edition of the Fiction Projects Proposal and Presentation Laboratory. This initiative, promoted by the Alicante International Film Festival and Impulsalicante, the Local Development Agency of Alicante City Council, offers authors the opportunity to defend their work before industry professionals.
The workshop, aimed at producers, directors, screenwriters, and anyone with a fiction project (series or feature film), will take place in person at the Puerta Ferrisa facilities. With the collaboration of the SGAE Foundation, the laboratory has established itself as a key meeting point for the Alicante and national film industry, offering opportunities to undertake, train, and showcase audiovisual projects to new creators.
Among the 19 selected projects, 4 series and 15 feature films stand out. The authors will present their works before a panel of speakers who will provide feedback and compete for various awards granted by the laboratory. These awards include the Impulsa Award for innovation, the À Punt Award for the best national fiction project, the SGAE Award for the most original and creative project, the Music Library Award, and the Movibeta Award for festival distribution.

"Once again, the selection process has been very challenging. It is also a source of pride to see how interest in this Laboratory and all the talks, round tables, and activities organized continues to grow."
