The commission, founded in 1962, thus achieves victory after securing third place last year. The winning monument highlights its Mediterranean theme.
Mercado Central took second place with a monument by artist Mario Pérez. Third place went to Foguerer Carolinas, with a work by Miriam García, climbing to the podium from seventh place last year.
In contrast, the 2025 winning hoguera, Florida Portazgo, finished in second-to-last place (eighth), while Sagrada Familia, which was second last year, obtained sixth place. The ninot by Ceballos & Sanabria for Sagrada Familia was reprieved this year.
The ranking for the Special category hogueras was as follows: Ángeles - Felipe Bergé, Mercado Central, Foguerer Carolinas, Baver - Els Antigons, La Ceràmica, Sagrada Familia, Diputació - Renfe, Florida Portazgo, and La Condomina.
In other categories, the first prizes went to: Port d'Alacant (First), Parque de las Avenidas (Second), San Antón Alto (Third A), Calvo Sotelo (Third B), Bulevar del Pla - Garbinet (Fourth), Virgen del Remedio - La Cruz (Fifth), and Pla Hospital (Sixth).
Last year, Florida Portazgo won the Special category with 84 points, followed by Sagrada Familia (81) and Ángeles-Felipe Bergé.
