A climber was rescued yesterday, Saturday, on Puig Campana in Finestrat, after suffering a fall that resulted in injuries to both ankles while ascending the Julia route.

The incident occurred while the woman was part of a three-person climbing team and was on the third pitch of the route. After the fall, her companions managed to lower her to the second belay station, where she awaited the arrival of rescue teams.

"The intervention presented certain technical complexity due to the need for a long crane maneuver, in addition to the presence of trees in the area and the coincidence with other climbers on the route."
