The Councillor for Hospitality, Lidia López, is leading the Alicante delegation with the aim of meeting sector agents and institutions, and participating in a presentation and showcooking organized in collaboration with the Dársena restaurant.
The Department of Hospitality and Commerce has prepared a special presentation for this professional event. It will take place next Monday on the “El Rincón del Arroz” stage of the Ministry of Agriculture, Water, Livestock and Fisheries, where Alicante rice will be the main focus.
The master rice chef from Dársena restaurant, Manuel del Amo, along with Cristina San Juan, manager and director of the Alicante Rice Symposium, will explain and prepare a traditional ‘Creamy Rice with Shrimp and Squid’, followed by a tasting for attendees.

During the event, Councillor López and the municipal technicians will take the opportunity to establish contacts with professionals from the gastronomic and hospitality sectors at national and international levels.
