The Alicante Provincial Council will establish the Investigation Commission on the management of the Bono Comercio program next Monday, April 20. This body will analyze the initiative and will be composed of 13 members from different political groups.

This commission will include seven representatives from the Popular Party, four from the PSPV, one from Vox, and one from Compromís. The presidency will fall to the first vice-president and deputy for Economy and Water Cycle, Ana Serna, by delegation from the president of the provincial institution.
The creation of this commission was approved by the plenary session on April 1 through a motion promoted by the Popular Group. Once the names of their representatives were communicated by the different groups, the Provincial Council has now set the date for the formal constitution of the body.
Representing the PP on the commission will be Ana Serna, Carmen Sellés, José Antonio Bermejo, Marina Sáez, Carlos Pastor, Antonio Bernabeu, and Magdalena Martínez. The Socialist Group will be represented by Raúl Ruiz, Raquel Marín, José Ramiro, and Verónica Giménez. In the case of Vox and Compromís, their sole provincial deputies, Gema Alemán and Ximo Perles, respectively, will participate in this body.
Although the commission was initially requested by the Socialist Group, it was ultimately the Popular Group that brought the motion for its creation to the plenary, a proposal that went ahead with the support of the entire corporation.
This first session will officially constitute the commission and will acknowledge the resolution of the president of the Provincial Council, Toni Pérez, delegating the presidency of the body to Ana Serna. Additionally, during the meeting, the planned session schedule will be informed. Meetings will be held on Mondays, except for the second session, which will take place on a Wednesday. It has also been established that there will be no meeting in weeks coinciding with a plenary session. The constitutive session will also serve to present the proposal for the appointment of the commission's vice-presidency.
