The initiative, processed from the El Claustro offices, allows vacant homes to be put into use and offers a housing alternative at reasonable prices. The beneficiaries of these new contracts, with an average rent of 584 euros, represent 2.55% of the IPREM.

Thanks to the constant monitoring of the free rental market carried out by the Alicante Housing Observatory, the program maintains rents 46% below the market price, which is around 1,100 euros per month. This difference ensures real access to affordable housing in the city.
In the last two years, the program has provided 1,951 consultations, with a 221% increase in 2025 compared to the previous year, and 7,514 mediations. This activity consolidates its role as a preventive tool and support for housing access.
