Facephi, the Alicante-based company specializing in digital identity verification and fraud prevention, has opened its own subsidiary in Canada to boost its growth and strengthen its presence in the dynamic North American market.

This new opening allows the company, which already operates in over 30 countries and serves more than 400 clients in sectors such as banking, fintech, and travel, to expand its international network. With this addition, Facephi now has a presence in Spain, Uruguay, and South Korea, consolidating its ability to offer global service and support multinational clients with homogeneous standards across different markets.
The strategic commitment to Canada is based on two years of work, during which the company has strengthened its knowledge of the Canadian financial and regulatory environment. Furthermore, it has established active collaborations with some of the country's main banking entities and has reinforced its integration into the local ecosystem.
Since 2024, Facephi has been part of the Digital ID and Authentication Council of Canada (DIACC), an organization that brings together private sector players, public institutions, and academic entities. This participation aligns with the company's mission to promote a common framework for secure digital identity. The company highlighted that the subsidiary's opening comes at a time of "growing need for advanced digital security solutions".
