The Valencian public broadcaster À Punt has rectified its programming schedule and will broadcast the proclamations of Alicante's 'Belleses del Foc' (Fire Beauties) live, after initially announcing a delayed broadcast for one of the events.

Initially, the schedule planned for a live broadcast of the children's 'Bellesa del Foc' proclamation, while the adult 'Bellesa del Foc' proclamation was to be aired on delay, coinciding with a bullfight in Madrid. This decision prompted a statement from À Punt's news council and works committee, who argued that the management's recent changes jeopardized professionals and reduced the quality and quantity of news content, contradicting public service obligations.
In response to these criticisms, the management of À Punt has decided to alter the schedule. The broadcaster announced the change this afternoon. Sources from the television station, consulted by VilaWeb, indicated that the reason for the change is a programming matter and not due to pressure from employees.
The announced bullfight will ultimately be broadcast next Friday night on delay. The 'Belleses del Foc' broadcast will feature narration by journalist Ferran Cano, who will host the event, and Josep Àngel Ponsoda will describe the atmosphere at the Teatre Principal d’Alacant.
