This project, a sibling to the original MasQi in Sierra de Mariola, was designed by Sonia Ferre, the brand's founder, in collaboration with the architecture studio Fabularq. The space, located on Susana Llaneras Street, stands out for its secluded atmosphere, created with natural materials, organic tones, and warm shapes.
“"Life is wonderful, but to create the life you desire, you have to put consciousness and focus, decide what you want."
The commitment to an urban center in Alicante aims to make the MasQi concept more accessible to a wider audience. The “YOGA & MOVE” block offers an extensive schedule of Vinyasa, Hatha, Yoga Nidra, Pilates, and Barre classes, from 6:30 AM to 9 PM, including weekends. Users can opt for single classes or regular memberships.
Another fundamental pillar is “RECOVERY,” a spa based on temperature contrast, featuring a Finnish sauna, an ice-cold plunge pool, and a hot pool, beneficial for the nervous system. Additionally, the “HEAL” concept includes massages and energetic therapies such as tarot or astrology, offering personal transformation without leaving the city.
The “FUEL” block focuses on organic gastronomy, with a cafeteria and restaurant offering all-day open kitchen service. Breakfasts include options like integral rice porridge, the Alicantine sandwich, or toasts with local products. The pastry, made without refined sugar or dairy, seeks to revive classics with healthy ingredients. They work with local producers such as Obrador Candeal from Elda, Viveka Ahumados from San Juan, and Aguacates de La Marina from Bolulla.
Finally, the “SOUL” concept promotes community building through urban rituals such as free dance, meditation, sound baths, and gastronomic experiences, with the aim of activating, releasing, and connecting participants. An example is the “Brunch & Beats” with a DJ set scheduled for April 19.
