The forest fire that broke out on Tuesday in Tibi, near the Maigmó mountain range, is showing a favorable evolution this Wednesday morning thanks to the intense work of the extinction teams.

The fire, which started in a difficult-to-access area, mobilized a large air and ground operation from the outset. Early on Wednesday morning, two aerial units joined the effort to reinforce extinction tasks, adding to the eight brigades from the Provincial Fire Consortium and five forest fire units (UBF) already operating in the area.
The fire alert was received on Tuesday at 5:16 PM, immediately activating a fire direction helicopter. In the initial stages, up to three outbreaks were detected, which increased concern due to the complexity of the terrain and the difficult access to the Maigmó mountain range.

The priority has been to contain the advance of the flames and consolidate the favorable evolution reported in recent hours.

During the night, personnel shifts were completed, ensuring the continuity of operations. The deployment was progressively expanded on Tuesday, including aerial assets, helitransported units, and fire brigades from the Generalitat Valenciana. Extinction services continue to monitor the area, awaiting further updates on the situation.
