The intervention focuses on the upper area of the square, which serves as the roof for the assembly hall. The deterioration of this area over time compromised the building's preservation, leading to the decision for a comprehensive intervention.

The project includes full waterproofing to prevent water ingress and a complete renovation of the paving. New materials will be used, which, in addition to their protective function, will enhance the safety of pedestrians using the square.

With this initiative, the council aims to ensure optimal conditions for the cultural use of the assembly hall, a space considered key for the social life of the municipality. The works began on April 15, 2026.

Due to the works, access to the municipal library will be temporarily redirected through the lower part of the building, with entry via Grup Francolí street. The City Council has requested public understanding for temporary inconveniences and respect for construction signage, with the expectation of completing the work as soon as possible.
