Since their inception, nearly 1,500 people have participated in these routes, establishing them as a benchmark activity within the municipality's environmental program. The next edition will take place on Sunday, April 26, with three scheduled sessions at 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, and 12:30 PM.
Each session will have a maximum of 30 participants. Participation is free, but prior registration is required, which can be done via phone at 610 082 682 or on the website https://almorxo.blogspot.com/, with places assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
The theatrical routes offer a unique experience in nature, where attendees explore the park accompanied by characters who, through small scenes, explain the geological, environmental, and landscape characteristics of Arenal de l'Almorxó in an educational way.
This area, with over 50 hectares of active inland dunes, is a unique enclave on the Iberian Peninsula and one of Petrer's main natural assets. With this proposal, the department continues to promote innovative environmental education formulas that highlight local natural heritage and foster awareness and respect for the environment.
Aimed at all audiences, especially families, this activity is presented as an opportunity to enjoy the natural environment in a playful and participatory way, reinforcing the collective commitment to the conservation of the more than 6,000 hectares of natural areas within the municipality of Petrer.
