This proposal offers an enjoyable way to discover one of the most unique natural enclaves in the municipality. Since its launch, nearly 1,500 people have participated in these routes, establishing them as a benchmark activity in Petrer's environmental program.
On this new occasion, the activity will take place on Sunday, April 26, with three scheduled sessions at 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, and 12:30 PM. Each session will have a maximum of 30 participants. Participation is free, but prior registration is required, which can be done by calling 610 082 682 or visiting the website almorxo.blogspot.com, with places assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
The theatrical routes offer a unique experience in nature, where attendees explore the park accompanied by characters who, through small scenes, explain the geological, environmental, and landscape characteristics of the Arenal de l'Almorxó in an educational and engaging way.
This area, with over 50 hectares of active inland dunes, constitutes a unique enclave on the Iberian Peninsula and one of Petrer's main natural assets. With this proposal, the Department of Environment continues to champion innovative environmental education formulas that, in addition to highlighting local natural heritage, promote awareness and respect for the environment.
Aimed at all audiences, especially families, this activity is presented as an opportunity to enjoy the natural environment in a fun and participatory way, reinforcing the collective commitment to the conservation of the more than 6,000 hectares of natural parks within the municipality of Petrer.
