The El Valle Originals festival returns to Elda, reaffirming its commitment to promoting hip hop culture and creating intergenerational spaces. This project, driven by the HdeCultura collective and supported by the Department of Culture, reaches its third edition with the aim of continuing to grow and bring this cultural movement closer to the public.
Under the motto "Roots and Branches", the festival proposes a journey through the historical foundations of hip hop while promoting new generations of artists. The program will unfold over several days next month, between June 6 and June 20, combining participatory, training, and exhibition activities.
“"El Valle Originals is an example of how urban culture can generate community, offer opportunities to young people, and enrich the cultural life of our city. Betting on these types of projects means betting on talent, diversity, and the future."
The event will kick off on Saturday, June 6 with the official presentation of the festival at Pub Tresseme, which will include a "Song Battle" to give visibility to new local talents. The day will conclude with live music and a preview of the program.
On Friday, June 12, the talk "Hip Hop Pioneers" will take place at Terraza Salones Princesa, a meeting focused on the origins of hip hop with the participation of artists and references. On Saturday, June 13, the "Jam Hip Hop El Valle Originals" will arrive at Plaza Castelar, the central event that will bring together different generations around disciplines such as graffiti, breaking, DJing, rap, and beatbox, with performances and workshops.
On Friday, June 19, there will be a screening of classic films and documentaries at Casa Grande Jardín de la Música, dedicated to the audiovisual memory of hip hop, featuring titles such as Beat Street and Style Wars. The festival will conclude on Saturday, June 20 with a graffiti concentration on the Vinalopó river canal, an open-air artistic day with painting, music, and coexistence.
