The Elda City Council has removed nearly 200 tons of waste from the natural area of El Sapo, one of the most affected spots by uncontrolled dumping, as part of the Environmental Restoration Plan promoted by the Department of Environment.

This intervention, considered one of the most significant carried out recently in the municipality, required the mobilization of five trucks to remove the numerous discarded materials that had accumulated irregularly in this natural enclave of Elda.
The Elda council has explained that these actions not only aim to clean up degraded areas but also to raise public awareness about the serious environmental impact caused by illegal dumping, both on local ecosystems and on the overall environmental quality of the municipality.

"Uncontrolled dumping continues to be a significant problem in the municipality. It is essential for citizens to become aware of the damage caused by illegal dumping. Only with everyone's involvement can we protect our environment and ensure its conservation for future generations."
