The company Mediterraneo de Obras y Asfaltos SA (MOA) submitted the best of the three bids received for the tender. This economic proposal represents a decrease of 52,624.07 euros compared to the base budget, implying an 11.2% reduction.

The contract covers the improvement of the road between Cocentaina and Muro, passing through l'Alqueria d'Asnar, specifically between PK 0+270 and PK 3+600. The works will be carried out without completely closing the road, as there are no nearby alternative routes, and will be executed in sections with alternating lane closures.

The project aims to reinforce the road surface to improve its regularity, extend the lifespan of the existing asphalt, and enhance grip between the road surface and vehicle tires. Additionally, safety will be increased by adapting the road shoulders, lining ditches and verges in pending sections, addressing necessary drainage issues, and renewing both horizontal and vertical signage.

The works will affect a total of 3,330 meters. Of these, 2,005 meters (60.2% of the intervention) run through the municipality of Cocentaina. Another 535 meters (16.1%) pass through l'Alqueria d'Asnar, and the remaining 790 meters (23.7%) correspond to the municipality of Muro.
