Cocentaina Municipal Cemetery has taken a firm step in revitalizing its historical heritage with the official inauguration of its anticipated funerary routes. The kickoff for this cultural and historical initiative took place yesterday in a profoundly moving manner, thanks to a poetry recital by renowned author Vicente Férez, artistically known as V. F.

Férez, specializing in the poetry of remembrance, delivered a solemn reading featuring compositions expressly dedicated to the deceased resting in the Cocentaina cemetery, alongside excerpts from his latest poetry collection, Necrópolis. The poet's profound sensitivity and the reverential respect shown towards the municipality's families created an atmosphere of great mysticism that moved many attendees to tears.

With this launch, the routes are not only establishing themselves as an architectural and historical attraction but also as a project with immense human and social value for Cocentaina.
